Molineux Quartet in Welsh Victory

Four Wolves men figured as Wales beat Iceland 1-0 in a friendly in Reykjavik last night.

Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey made some fine saves as he kept a clean sheet and there was a first full cap for new signing Sam Vokes (pictured) who went on as a substitute replacing another Molineux striker, Freddy Eastwood, shortly after the interval.

The fourth member of the Wolves quartet was midfielder Dave Edwards who played for just over an hour before he was substituted. Manchester City's Ched Evans won the game for the Welsh when he backheeled the ball home on the stroke of half-time.

For this evening's friendly between the Republic of Ireland and Colombia at Fulham's Craven Cottage, Andy Keogh and Kevin Foley are expected to be on the bench.
