Carden Park voted UK's 4th best hotel
Saturday 1st December, 2007
Carden Park, one of the UK’s leading spa and golf retreats located near Chester, has been voted 4th best hotel in the UK by readers of the Daily Telegraph in the paper’s 2007 Travel Awards.
It’s a major honour for Carden Park, which finished higher than any other hotel in the North of England and follows the recent completion of a major £5m refurbishment.
Over 30,000 Daily Telegraph readers voted in the awards which saw Carden Park in a Top 10 that also included another De Vere Deluxe hotel, The Grand in Brighton.
Located just 15 minutes from the historic city of Chester and 45 minutes from both Manchester and Liverpool, Carden Park’s spa, two championship golf courses and proximity make it a popular destination for leisure and business guests in the region.
According to General Manager, Hamish Ferguson, “We’re absolutely delighted that Carden Park has been voted the UK’s 4th best hotel.
“It’s even more satisfying as the award comes from those that matter most – our guests. It shows that what we’re offering here with our facilities, service and attention to detail hasn’t gone unnoticed.”
