Carden Park refurbishment - room

Saturday 23rd February, 2008

De Vere Carden Park is excited to announce the completion of its dramatic refurbishment. One of the world’s leading golf and leisure retreats, the hotel, set in 750 acres of beautiful countryside in Cheshire, now boasts state-of-art bedrooms, lounge, foyer & bar area.

Of the £5 million invested into the refurbishment of this historic 17th Century Estate, half was allocated just to the 196 Executive bedrooms. By employing only the finest materials and most striking colour schemes, the finished result exudes style and comfort.

Guests can be confident that every room consists of all the modern facilities one would expect of a four star hotel as well as the more luxurious additions such as Sky TV and spacious sitting areas. So whether you are treating yourself to a relaxing break or looking for a dynamic base from which to explore the local area, prepare yourself for a truly indulgent experience.

The remaining £2.5 million has been spent lovingly restoring the Morgan’s Bar, Lounge & Library. What’s more, for those all-important first impressions, the sweeping, spacious area of the Reception & Foyer is now both welcoming and stylish.

From the rich colours and patterns to the chandeliers and chaise longues, the décor completes the look and feel of Carden Park. The hotel already boasts a fantastic leisure club, including swimming pool, gymnasium, steam room, sauna and whirlpool spa. There’s also a wide range of outdoor leisure activities such as tennis, archery, quad-biking and 4x4 off-road driving. Keen golfers will be pleased to know there are two 18-hole Championship courses as well as a purpose built golf school.

Carden Park has the added luxury of being nestled between the contrasting and beautiful landscapes of the Cheshire plain and the Welsh Hills, so really is the ideal base from which to explore the many exciting attractions and great days out that are available in the area, such as Beeston Castle or Chester Zoo.
